Home-School Agreement
At Parbold Douglas Church of England Academy, we work hard to ensure we can all enjoy learning together and we aim to produce a safe and secure environment based on the new commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you.”
Under the ‘School Standards and Framework Act 1998’, all state schools must have in place a Home-School Agreement. At Parbold Douglas, we encourage parents to continue take an active part in their children’s education as their first and most enduring educators. Good quality learning should take place both at home and school. It is our aim to develop this agreement with you and the children in order that everybody is committed to it.
We collect information about your child under the lawful basis as identified in Article 6 and Article 9 from the GDPR. This means we use information in compliance with our legal obligation and for tasks carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in Parbold Douglas CE Academy. Some information we use with explicit consent. We use information in protecting the vital interests of our pupils and in line with the Education Act 1996 and Regulation 5 of The Education (Information About Individual Pupils) (England) Regulations 2013.
