Setting Manager (Nursery and Duggies)

Parbold Douglas Nursery is excited to be seeking a visionary, inspiring leader to oversee its large and popular Early Years and Wraparound Care setting. This vacancy has arisen following the resignation of our successful and long-standing Setting Manager, who has secured a new strategic position at a local council.

Parbold Douglas Nursery and Duggies Out-of-School Care are based in the beautiful village of Parbold, within the grounds of Parbold Douglas CE Academy.

The Nursery offers all-year-round care (open 51 weeks of the year) for children aged 1 to 5 years between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm daily. The Nursery operates across three rooms (Buttercup Room, Caterpillar Room, and Butterfly Room) and has capacity for 55 children on-site at any one time.

Duggies Out-of-School Care is open during term-time and offers wraparound care provision to the pupils of Parbold Douglas CE Academy (aged 4 to 11 years old) – the morning session runs from 7:30am until 8:50am, and the afternoon sessions runs from 3:20pm until 6pm.

Nursery Practitioner (Part-Time, Required ASAP)

Parbold Douglas Nursery is a thriving, popular Early Years setting for children aged 1 and above. We operate across 3 rooms (Buttercup Room, Caterpillar Room, and Butterfly Room) and are located at Parbold Douglas Church of England Academy.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our happy, supportive, and caring team. 

The position is initially on a temporary basis and begins ASAP.

We welcome applications from experienced nursery practitioners (with Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications), and those new to the role who possess the right personal qualities.

This is a part-time vacancy. Hours will be discussed.
