Christo et Doctrinae - ‘For Christ and Learning’

Our Provision

At Parbold Douglas Nursery we pride ourselves on providing the best possible start for all children within our care. We believe that children are at their most receptive during the first five years of life and it is our duty to support them on their learning journey.

Our Caterpillar (2-3 years) and Butterfly (3-4 years) rooms are both spacious and light, providing a welcoming and stimulating environment for all the children. All our staff have relevant childcare qualifications, ensuring that the learning opportunities are structured and purposeful, proving activities that allow your children to grow and learn.

Parent feedback

'Our son has attending the nursery since he turned 2 and he is now 4 1/2 and starting school in September. We have been delighted with the care and attention he had been given and how well he has progressed to enable him to have a running start when he starts reading and writing next year. He has developed into a confident and considerate child under the nursery staffs care and guidance'.

'My daughter has attended Parbold Douglas Nursery for over two years and she is currently in the Butterfly class. I have always been extremely happy with the care provided by the nursery. The staff are very professional and they always take time to talk to parents and offer feedback about progress and general welfare'.

'In the 15 months she has been at Parbold Douglas nursery, X has blossomed into a confident, friendly, child who is comfortable in her own skin and able to interact with her peers and adults. She loves nursery and this self confidence has come as a direct result of the love, understanding and nurturing that has come from each and every staff member at Parbold Douglas. She amazes me every day with the new, varied and exciting things she learns and we are all confident that she will adapt well and embrace the challenges that starting reception in September will bring'.
