We love the relationship between school and church and hope you will too.
Our school pursues a deeply Christian and inclusive vision that underpins all aspects of its work. Our hope is that the children will believe that they can make a difference and be equipped to take their place to help transform society.
As Vicar I love being part of collective worship at school and learn as much from the children as they do from me. We have some super class visits to church where our children have the chance to explore and ask questions. We also host wonderful whole-school assemblies here in church - not to be missed!
Many of our children take an active part in our Family Services at church - their enthusiasm is a joy to watch and encourages us all.
As part of growing to their full potential, we want to support our children as they grow in confidence to explore faith in ways which are fun and real for them. Each child is different - there's never any pressure, just lots of encouragement and creative ideas!

Our Christian faith is central to all we do and we have strong links with our parish church, Christ Church Parbold.
On a regular basis, a member of the church team leads whole-school collective worship at Parbold Douglas. As well as this, we enjoy regular visits in school from Reverend Sue Timmins and her superb team. Some school worship services, including our annual Christmas and Easter services, are held at Christ Church. A couple of times a year, the church will host its Sunday morning family service at Parbold Douglas. These services include heavy involvement from the school team.
In a beautiful setting, high on the hill above Parbold village, Christ Church is well worth a visit. It is a warm, friendly, welcoming church with services and activities for all age groups. To find out more, visit their website:
